Here are some of the photos from Primary Election 2010! How grateful I am to win a full 6 year term with a primary win and no general election!

Since I participated in the ConocoPhillips Candidate Forum in 2008 in Bartlesville, I knew it would be a great place to win votes. This year, was no different except for the number of candidates in attendance this year...65 tables compared to 45 in 2008! I enjoyed it again this year!

As usual, the organization and attendance at the OKC GOP Women's event is first class and tonight's statewide candidate forum was no exception. Thanks OKC GOP Women for great food, companionship and a top notch event. Thanks especially to Al and Annette Basey for hosting it in their lovely home.

Once again, the rain seems to be everywhere in Oklahoma including in Ada on July 9th for the Pontotoc County Farm Bureau Candidate Forum. I must give lots of credit to the ladies who made such delicious homemade cookies for those in attendance to enjoy. I had more than my share.

It was another rainy July day, but that did not dampen the crowd or its enthusiasm at the USA Patriot Tea Party in Tulsa on July 6th. Dr. Tom Coburn and Congressman John Sullivan kicked things off and many candidates were there to speak as well.

The weather certainly did not dampen things in Perry tonight as the decision was made to go indoors for the event which turned out to be a good thing as rain seemed to just be part of the entire July 4, 2010 weekend.

It's just not 4th of July without a parade or should I say parades, right? Thankfully, the LibertyFest Parade in Edmond missed most of the downpour of rain that hit the Bethany Centennial Freedom Fest Parade.

The Okfuskee County Republicans did a great job of turning out lots of conservative Oklahomans in Okemah, along with some delicious pies, cakes and cookies for their Candidate Forum and Pie Auction. I bid on a wonderful banana cake that I cannot wait to share with my staff at the Commission! It was great fun to be there...
