(Edmond,
OK) Corporation Commission
Candidate Dana Murphy received the endorsement of Edmond Mayor Dan O’Neil
today, and has also been endorsed this week by the Edmond Sun and Edmond Life and Leisure.
Dana Murphy has the skills and credentials to do what's
right for Oklahoma
on the energy front. Her qualifications are unmatched by any candidate, and I'm
proud to give her my endorsement," said O'Neil.
“I’m ready to put my knowledge and qualifications to the
test and hit the ground running to do what’s right for Oklahomans from day one.
I am honored to receive this endorsement,” said Murphy. “Oklahomans should check
my resume. With over 20 years experience in the energy sector, I know I have
what it takes to be a great Corporation Commissioner.”
“In a time of critical energy issues and rising costs,
Oklahomans deserve a candidate with a balance of experience and excellence in
the energy field who can face the often complex issues dealt with by the
Corporation Commission. I am that candidate,” said Murphy.
Murphy worked as a geologist for over ten years, and
even gave expert geological testimony at the Corporation Commission. She earned
her law degree while working as a geologist during the day and attending law
school at night, and is now an energy attorney owning and operating her own
legal practice in Edmond.
She also served as a Corporation Commission Administrative Law Judge for nearly
six years hearing over 5,000 cases. For more information about Murphy, please
